ABOUT JEN TIDWELL
Jen was just about born backstage to her professional actor parents. Raised in green rooms and performing onstage from a young age, Jen grew up under the stage lights and discovered her passion for theater and media before she could even ride a bike.
As an actor and performer her resume includes notable credits such as The Second City, and winner of Best Supporting Actress at SETC 1997. Jen also appeared as on-air talent with her own weekly essay on WLRH 89.5FM in Huntsville, AL.
In Las Vegas, Jen created Greenhouse Productions and produced shows in small (60 seats), medium (200 seats) and large (1100 seats) venues from Off-Off-Broadway scale all the way through full Broadway scale productions. She successfully bridged all challenges—artistic, production, planning, and management—and worked in cooperation with Nevada Theatre Company, College of Southern Nevada/Jade Productions, and Super Summer Theatre. Equally skilled in technical theatre, Jen stage-managed Hamlet in Park City, Utah, with members of the Royal Shakespeare Company.
Jen is also a lighting and sound designer as well as a theatre entrepreneur.
Currently, Jen is the host of the popular niche podcast The Earp Fiction Addiction and the producer of the FANDRAS FANBUS.
With her extensive background in improvisational theater and pop culture knowledge, Jen is the ideal person to moderate your convention panel.
